Within the US there are about 60 million Hispanic and Latino Americans.
This makes them the largest minority group living within the US. They have mainly immigrated to the country in search of better living conditions and search for better employment opportunities. Most of them have immigrated into the country from North American countries such as Mexico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and some from Honduras. In the US most of them reside in the region bordering Mexico and live in places such as Texas, Arizona, California, and New Mexico ( Stang & Bonilla, 2018) . 4
