The Hispanic community has many religions revolving around it but the most predominant being Christianity from the Roman Catholic Church.
In many of the Hispanic homes, statutes and makeshift alters are bound to be found. The population deeply believes in God and the statue of Mary Mother of Jesus and a crucifix ( Johnson & Farquharson, 2019) . Some of the members of the community members believe that faith and prayer are bound to health them of the illnesses they have, and some have died in the process, but this mainly attributed to low income where they cannot be able to afford western medicine. Some of the saints in their faith have been given specialized healing functions such as St. Peregrine for Cancer, St. Joseph for Death, St. Anne for infertility, and St. James the Greater for Arthritis ( Johnson & Farquharson, 2019) . There are important rights such as baptism and anointing of the sick. This makes the church a very impactful aspect of their society and it impacts their family and health practices.
