In the proposed scenario, the controlling shareholders will not want to lose any shares because of the controlling issues. With CPK’s case when repurchasing the shares from the non-controlling share, this repurchase which will be done by tender offer will lead to the controlling shareholders to have a significant number shares more than their counterparts and will have a marginal increase in company decisions.
