Section III: Internet Information Quality

In studying the quality of internet information, this paper evaluates information posted on two websites by The White House. The two sites share different information. The first message was published during the reign of the 43rd president of the United States, George Bush, while the other data is a recent update by today’s president of The States, Donald Trump. The two messages differ in several ways.

First, the older upload presents low-quality information, and t he presentation is weak compared to the recent upload. The latest upload by the white house owned website offers a more detailed message. The ancient message by the white house does not show enough clarity and conviction. The absence of pictures and sites to gain more information concerning the topic lowers the viewer’s interest in reading the message. Besides, the message is shown too short to comprehend fully; hence the whole project is inefficient.

In the recent upload by The White House, the information is just enough for the viewer to understand. The upload is also provided subsections and intermediaries to gain more knowledge concerning the topic of discussion. Besides, the upload is backed up by photos, providing sufficient evidence and attracting the public. The website has taken care of adverts, which, by large, bother the readers. In contrast, the older site allowed advertisement in the message. The presence of adverts lowers readers’ morale and demotivates. They start questioning the seriousness and authenticity of the information.
