This \”write-up\” is basically a one-page journal of what I discussed and did with my preceptor regarding this handwashing/hand hygiene Capstone. This is the topic for week 8:
Examine the organizational/community methods of disseminating new information. Collaborate with your preceptor to determine the best method of dissemination.

Dissemination is an important part of project implementation. There are several ways in which the results of this project can be disseminated. The first method of dissemination is the face-to-face presentation of the results. This type of presentation is the most comprehensive one (Ludden et al., 2020). It occurs mainly when dissemination happens internally. The face-to-face presentation will be effective for disseminating results to internal stakeholders such as the hospital board. The face-to-face presentation allows the audience to ask questions and seek instant feedback from the researchers.
The second method of dissemination is through journal publication. These are peer-reviewed articles published in specific journals. They are considered the most popular form of dissemination. Journal publications are used to disseminate information to a wider range of audiences (Ludden et al., 2020). These papers can reach people all over the world because they can be easily retrieved from the internet. Journals also disseminate reliable and valid information because they are peer-reviewed. They produce a high level of evidence.
Another method of dissemination is through posters. It is also another flexible method of disseminating information. Poster presentations attract an audience of similar interest, permit interaction and clarification of the research process and findings by the researcher, allow creative expression in presentation, and help to build collegial relationships with others who hold similar interests (Ludden et al., 2020). They can be placed in offices, specific places in the community, or maybe distributed to individuals. other methods of dissemination include email and text messages. They can be used to disseminate information both internally and externally. Therefore, all these methods are suitable for disseminating the research findings.
