2. Conduct screening interview (HR).
3. Contact references (HR).
4. Conduct second interview (nurse manager).
5. Compare applicants (nurse manager/nursing department).
6. Make hire/no hire decision (nurse manager/nursing department).
7. Perform background check (HR).
8. Make phone offer, conditional on clean drug test within 24 hours (nurse manager).
9. With clean drug test, offer is official.
