E. Speech

The directions for the elevator speech are quite simple.

1. Choose a topic for your research paper.  Your topic must be in time span from 1492-1867      You may choose any topic of interest to you. The more narrow the topic, the better.

2. Record a ONE minute “elevator” speech about your chosen topic. The recoding can be made with program such a loom or and video recording.

3. The recording must show you, speaking about your topic.

4. The speech must address the following: a “working” proposal of their topic and a “working thesis”  as well as the direction they are looking to explore with their chosen topic.

5. I will use the rubric below to grade the speech
