Capstone Project Change Proposal Presentation

The project presentation was so interesting. Response to the presentation was more positive and encouraging. The panel agreed that I was able to prepare well for the presentation, as recommended by the preceptor. The presentation covered all areas of the project including the evaluation (Fauzi & Hanifah, 2018). The slides were well prepared, with complete and precise bullets. Just by reading the slides, without going into further details, one can easily understand the whole project. The slides used simple English that is easy to understand as advised by the preceptor. My confidence during the presentation was good.

The interprofessional collaboration has significantly improved the effectiveness of my presentation. I managed to learn a lot from different professionals who were engaged in the process.  For example, I managed to learn a lot of knowledge related to the development of a PowerPoint presentation (Fauzi & Hanifah, 2018). I could easily develop the slides and speaker notes. One important trick I learned is not to flood my slides with a lot of words, instead, I wrote brief bulletins and explained every point in the speaker notes. It made my PowerPoint look neat and presentable. I could easily answer any question because the whole project was summarized in the speaker notes section.

I answered well all the questions asked. For instance, some of the questions asked during the presentation include possible barriers to implementation of the intervention as well as solutions to the barriers. Another question includes how the intervention would be sustained and any follow-ups needed. This experience has had a positive impact on my future professional practice because I will easily handle project presentations even better than what I did in this project presentation (Fauzi & Hanifah, 2018). Therefore, this presentation was very successful beyond my expectation.
